Interns are an invaluable pillar in our organisation. Please note that an internship is an act of kindness that allows you to contribute to the welfare of animals in PFA.


 

  • 1. Research into questions and answers for columns.
  • 2. Writing scripts for films.
  • 3. Updating Facebook and increasing the footfalls to our pages.
  • 4. Research for the pamphlets.
  • 5. Working on books that are in the process of publication by PFA.
  • 6. Making cold calls to raise money and in-kind donations for PFA animal hospitals.
  • 7. Research for articles published by PFA.


 

The work area will be People For Animals, 14 Ashoka Road, New Delhi 110001 (Patel Chowk Metro Station), the timings are 10 am – 5 pm, 5 days a week. The intern has to work a minimum of 25 working days to get a certificate.

Social Media / Fundraising

Are you passionate about animals? Do you want to work for the welfare of the least privileged creatures? We are in constant search of people who are caring towards animals, sensitive towards the environment, and dedicated towards their work.

People For Animals (PFA), India’s largest animal welfare organization, is working day and night on the ground with the help of volunteers.

PFA is in dire need of a social media and fundraising person that can educate more and more people to come forward and join this noble cause.

Profile

  • Handling Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Meeting CSR companies and submitting proposals for collaboration.
  • Writing to embassies
  • Sending proposals to big philanthropic institutions (outside India)
  • Sending regular Newsletters
  • Keeping all the donors informed about the activities of PFA
  • Different exhibitions to be organized
  • Organizing small and big fundraisers
  • Encouraging corporates for advertisements on the PFA website
  • Informing the media about PFA’s activities
  • Getting sponsorships for fundraisers
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies
  • Identify and contact potential donors
  • Applying for foreign and Indian grants

Are you a vet, a para vet, an intern, or a student studying veterinary medicine in Europe, the UK, or the US? Are you a vet, a para vet, an intern, or a student studying veterinary medicine in Europe, the UK, or the US? Are you thinking of helping animals from another country? Come and work as a volunteer if you are a student and as a paid veterinarian if you are a para vet or a qualified doctor. You will get a chance to work in Delhi for the largest animal hospital/shelter in the country, Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre. You will be treating hundreds of animals ranging from camels and horses to white mice with monkeys, donkeys, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and everyone else! You will see the strangest situations and the most abused animals. You will get the chance to teach Indian vets/para vets and bring about reforms and learn from them.

For as long as you stay here, your boarding and meals are free.

Dealing with RWA's harassing animal feeders and Pet owners

Coordinating rescues of animals in distress all over India

Arranging treatments for the animals that cannot be transported to hospitals

PFA needs enthusiastic people to handle all these things. He/She should be proficient in Hindi and English, both verbally and in writing.

Should be at least a graduate, computer savvy, and should be an animal person.

The nature of work includes public relations, adoption, donation drives for stray animals, social media management, grooming, cleaning, and feeding animals.
